Ein Verfahren ist für die menschliche Retinoblastom Tumoren in Mäusen zu propagieren. Tumorzellen sind direkt in die Augen immungeschwächten Mäusen injiziert. Sekundäre Tumoren wurden erfolgreich etabliert mit beiden Zellen direkt aus humanen Tumoren und kultiviert tumorspheres geerntet.
