It would be nice to give credit where credit is due - Ao and Stenken showed how feasible it is to combine microdialysis sampling with Luminex and other bead-based assays for cytokine multiplexed detection. While I realize we did it "only" in rats and mice and not with clinical samples, the principle is the same. Thanks, Julie A Stenken.
