Alyssa K. Amick

Alyssa Amick is a graduate student at the Yale School of Public Health. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University.

During her time as an undergraduate in Charles Dela Cruz’s lab in the Pulmonary Department of the Yale School of Medicine, she researched the role of chitinase and chitinase like proteins in the immune response to a variety of viral and bacterial lung infections. Her current work continues to focus on pulmonary infectious diseases.
