Asher Kahn-Krell

Asher Kahn-Krell is a Graduate student in the MSTP program at the University of Alabama pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. He received his undergraduate joint degrees from Columbia University and Brandeis University in Chemical Engineering and Biology. He is currently focused on studying the use of iPSC derived cardiomyocytes for regeneration of the myocardium following ischemic damage.

Asher received an American Heart Association Predoctoral Fellowship that provided him funding beginning in 2019.
