Christian Vanhove

Christian Vanhove graduated as a Biomedical Engineer from Brussels University in 1990. From 1991-2011, he worked as medical physicist expert in nuclear medicine with research focussing on all aspects of medical image processing and analysis. He obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences in 2004 at Brussels University. In 2005, he was one of the initiators of the laboratory animal imaging facility of Brussels University, where he worked as a postdoctoral researcher. During this period his research was focused on imaging quantification in laboratory animal imaging. Since 2011, he joined the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Ghent University, where he is director of the laboratory animal imaging facility. Christian Vanhove is associate professor and lecturer in biomedical engineering.
