Associate Professor in the Physical Education Department, São Paulo State University, Bauru, since 2016. Undergraduate degree and a Ph.D. from São Paulo State University at Rio Claro, Brazil.

Develop research encompassing gas exchange response and metabolic energy supply during human exercise, especially in swimming, resistance training and combat sports.

Post-doctoral fellow (2013) in Exercise Physiology lab at Faculty of Physical Activities and Sports, Polytechnic University of Madrid, ES, studying aerobic and resistance training effects on obesity levels.

Now, coordinate the Human Performance Optimization lab and supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in Human Development and Technologies graduate program.
