Inki Kim
Ph.D Candidate

Inki Kim is a Ph.D candidate in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Republic of Korea. He received his bachelor degree with highest honor in Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Republic of Korea.

During his Ph.D training under supervision of Prof. Junsuk Rho, he developed multifunctional flat optical devices based on metasurfaces including holographic display, flat lens and color filters. To realize active/dynamic metaphotonic devices, he developed phase-change-material integrated flat optical devices. Also he invented advanced nanofabrication techniques such as ultra-accurate electron beam lithography overlay with sub-20 nm accuracy and single-digit-nanometer scale lithography.

Inki Kim received SPIE Optics and Photonics Scholarship from International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) in 2020, Carlsberg Foundation Scholarship from The 9th International Conference on Surface Plasmon Photonics in 2019, and Global Ph.D. Fellowship from Korean Government in 2016.
