He obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 with a thesis on the biophysical studies of the nucleic acid chaperone properties of the HIV-1 nucleocapsid protein. He was appointed lecturer in biophysics and biostatistics at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Illkirch (Strasbourg) in France in 2012. He has been a visiting scholar in the Sir David Klenerman group at the University of Cambridge (UK) for a year in 2014 and a visiting lab associate in the Jacobs-Wagner lab at Yale University (CT, USA) in 2016.
