She holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering, graduating with honors from Universidad de las Americas Puebla, Mexico.During her undergraduate research, she worked with the application of nano-therapeutics focusing its use for neurodegenerative disorders. Currently, she is working in Pierre Magistretti's lab studying the effects of ageing on the spatial distribution of glycogen in the brain, as well as memory stability upon glycogenolysis inhibition.
