Natalie Verstraeten

Natalie Verstraeten is a staff scientist in the Center for Microbiology, VIB-KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. She received a Master’s degree (2006) and a PhD (2011) in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium. Her main research interests include bacterial persistence, horizontal gene transfer, experimental evolution and synthetic biology.
