Invertebrate pathologist with major in veterinary medicine (2010) and DSc in veterinary sciences (2014) from Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), Brazil. Patricia was a visiting scholar at Utah State University under Dr. Donald Roberts supervision in 2012 and 2013. Currently, she is a faculty member (Professor) at Departamento de Parasitologia Animal in UFRRJ. Main research areas: entomopathogenic fungi, microbial control of arthropods and ticks of medical and veterinary importance, specially Rhipicephalus microplus and Metarhizium endophytic colonization.
