Siteng Fan

Siteng Fan is a graduate student in the Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences, California Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor degree from Peking University.

During Siteng's graduate career, he worked with Prof. Yuk L. Yung on planetary atmospheres. His research focuses on photochemistry and haze formation in the atmospheres of Titan and Pluto, using observations from instruments onboard Cassini and New Horizons spacecraft. He also works on benchmark analysis for exoplanet observations using the Earth as the ground truth.
