Timothy J. Scholl Robarts Research Institute Western University Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Timothy J. SchollAssociate Professor Timothy Scholl is a Scientist at the Robarts Research Institute at Western University and an Investigator with the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. The overarching goals of his research are to develop molecular imaging probes, which inform on aspects of the tumor microenvironment to improve tumor detection, quantification of aggressiveness and assessment of therapeutic response. Technologies and applications include: magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging of tumor metabolism using hyperpolarized 13C-enriched compounds for early assessment of treatment response, fast magnetic field-cycling relaxometry and MRI of novel MRI contrast agents for molecular imaging of tumors and development of sodium MRI for non-invasive characterization of cancer.
