This Rio de Janeiro-based research institute is our second JoVE Unlimited subscriber in Brazil. The organization is devoted to scientific research and development in biological sciences. Founded in 1907, it has become one of the world’s major public health research institutions, with more than 7,500 employees.

This new subscriber is a 50-years-plus-old, multi-disciplinary university that offers a broad set of courses. It provides a special focus on engineering. Currently, its 2,000 full-time teachers teach 39,000-plus students.
JoVE is also provides video to the international biotech and pharmaceutical industries. We recently added Merck KGaA as a subscriber, and expanded our subscription with Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.
