In October, the JoVE team attended, exhibited, and spoke at a total of 12 different conferences on three different continents! Along the way, we got the opportunity to meet thousands of dedicated people within the scientific and academic publishing communities and hear about their challenges, triumphs, and experiences in the world of scientific research and education. We had such a great time, in fact, that we’re going to be doing it all over again in November!

Charleston Vendor Showcase & Conference
November 2 & 5 | Charleston, SC, USA
This year, the JoVE team has two fantastic opportunities to connect with the hundreds of librarians attending the Charleston Conference. During the Charleston Vendor Showcase on November 2nd, we’ll be exhibiting and previewing content from our latest Journal and Science Education releases at Table #74. Once you’ve visited us there be sure to catch our Lightning Innovation Talks presentation on November 5th. At 11:00 am, we’ll be presenting a 10-minute talk on “The Role of Academic Librarians in Ending the Reproducibility Crisis” with Donna Gibson, the Director of Library Services at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
XXIV Asamblea Anual de REBIUN
November 9 – 11 | Palma, Majorca, Spain
We’re delighted to be exhibiting the full suite of JoVE resources at this year’s meeting of La Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias Españolas (REBIUN) in beautiful Majorca. A member of our team will be meeting with librarians and library directors from all CRUE and CSIC institutions throughout the event; discussing the benefits that scientific video publishing can bring to their work, inviting feedback from our valued subscribers throughout Spain, and presenting a talk on the positive impact video presentation can have on the reproducibility crisis.
Jornada TAB Centro Medico de Mar del Plata

For the first time, JoVE will be attending, exhibiting, and sponsoring this year’s Jornada TAB Centro Medico de Mar del Plata. A member of the JoVE team will be available throughout the entire event to discuss current issues being faced by academic and research librarians and how video publishing can help to respond to them. FIL Guadalajara International Book Fair

The Guadalajara International Book Fair, the most important publishing gathering in Ibero-America, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with nearly 800 thousand visitors and nearly 2,000 publishers including JoVE!
