Edna George, Ph.D.

Edna received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Bombay. Her Ph.D. work focused on the role of various microenvironmental cues dictating cell response like cell spreading and cell migration. Later, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher focussing on identifying the mechanosensors in fibrosis and immunomodulatory effects of vesicles isolated from Mycobacteria.
