In diesem Video beschreiben wir einen qualitativen spektrophotometrischen Assay, um das Ausmaß der Verzweigung in einer Glykogenprobe mit einer nicht charakterisierten Struktur zu bestimmen. Der Vergleich der Absorptionsmaxima der uncharakterisierten Probe mit denen von Polysacchariden mit bekannten verzweigten Strukturen deutet auf das Vorhandensein von Verzweigungen in der nicht charakterisierten Probe hin.
