Biography

I am an MD, PhD, practicing non-invasive cardiologist and scientist. My research interest lies in cell-specific cell penetrating peptides as novel vectors for drug delivery. I have identified a cardiac targeting peptide as well as two lung targeting peptides that we are developing as novel vectors for acute and chronic conditions. My interest also lie in motile cilia especially respiratory motile cilia and effect of various drugs and interventions on ciliary function.
