These measurements are compared in women with and without pelvic organ prolapse.
Microscopy Based Methods for the Assessment of Epithelial Cell Migration During In Vitro Wound Healing Sergio Liarte*1, Ángel Bernabé-García*1, David Armero-Barranco2, Francisco José Nicolás1 1Laboratorio de Oncología Molecular y TGF-β, IMIB-Arrixaca, 2Departamento de Enfermería, Facultad Enfermería, Universidad de Murcia This manuscript describes how incision-like lesions made on cultured epithelial cell monolayers conveniently model wound healing in vitro, allowing for imaging by confocal or laser scanning microscopy, and which can provide high-quality quantitative and qualitative data for studying both cell behavior and the mechanisms involved in migration.
