Mingyi Wang

Mingyi Wang received his M.D. degree from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences, Changchun, China, in 1988, and his M.S. and his Ph.D. degrees from Peking Union Medical College and the Chinese Academy of Medicine Sciences, Beijing, China, in 1991 and 1998, respectively. Dr. Wang completed his postdoctoral training in cardiovascular science at the National Institution on Aging, National Institutes of Health under mentor, Dr. Edward G.  Lakatta in 2003. Since then, he has been a Staff Scientist at the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Science, National Institution on Aging, National Institutes of Health, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Dr. Wang is also an adjunct assistant professor, Johns Hopkins School of Bloomberg Public Health, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and a guest professor, Jilin University, China. His research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of arterial and cardiac remodeling during aging and age-related cardiovascular diseases.
