Dr. Manoj Muthukuru completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from The Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University, India and subsequently pursued P.hD. in Oral Biology and Pathology from Stony Brook University, New York. Dr. Muthukuru obtained post-graduate clinical training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and underwent post-doctoral research training from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Muthukuru is a Diplomate from the American Board of Periodontology and has served as a full-time academician at the University of Washington and West Virginia University. Dr. Muthukuru currently is a clinical consultant at Rajan Dental Institute and chief scientist at Chennai Dental Research Foundation, India. Dr Muthukuru’s areas of research include Oral Mucosal Immunology, Bone Biology, and Tissue Engineering.
