Het huidige protocol beschrijft een eenvoudige en efficiënte methode voor het verzamelen van bloed uit de subclavia-ader bij ratten. Het maakt snelle, tijdige en gemakkelijk identificeerbare bemonstering zonder anesthesie mogelijk en verkrijgt bloed van hoge kwaliteit door herhaalde monsterverzameling.
