Introduction: Lost in the Woods \u2014 How a Compass Saved the Day<\/b>
<\/b> During a school camping trip, Ms. Thompson\u2019s 7th-grade students found themselves off-trail and unsure which direction to take. Thankfully, one student had recently learned how to use a compass in science class \u2014 and confidently navigated the group back to base.<\/span><\/p>\n

This sparked Ms. Thompson\u2019s decision to teach compass skills for students through a hands-on activity that combined outdoor movement, map reading, and real-world application.<\/span><\/p>\n
