Vi beskriver en detaljert protokoll for isolering av tumor-initiere celler fra humant sarkom pasient-avledet xenotransplantater av fluorescens celle sortering, ved hjelp av humant leukocytter antigen-1 (HLA-1) som en negativ markør, og for ytterligere validering og karakterisering av disse HLA-1-negative tumor-initiere celler.
