Introduction

Data values are often spread around the center of a distribution. The Interquartile Range (IQR) is a measure of variability that describes how spread out the middle half of a data set is.

During a math challenge, eight students recorded their completion times. The teacher wants to measure how spread out the middle half of the data is.
