Projectile Motion

Wenn ein Objekt mit einer bestimmten Anfangsgeschwindigkeit in einem Winkel zum Boden gestartet wird, bewegt es sich aufgrund der Schwerkraft auf einer parabolischen Bahn. Das Objekt wird als Projektil bezeichnet, und der Weg, dem es folgt, wird als Flugbahn bezeichnet.
Die horizontale Entfernung, die das Projektil zurücklegt, wird als Reichweite bezeichnet, während die maximale Höhe, die das Projektil erreicht, als Zenit der Flugbahn bezeichnet wird.
Die Bewegung des Projektils kann als unabhängig in horizontaler und vertikaler Richtung betrachtet werden.
Unter der Annahme eines vernachlässigbaren Luftwiderstands ist die einzige Kraft, die auf das Projektil wirkt, auf die Erdanziehungskraft zurückzuführen. Die vertikale Komponente der Beschleunigung ist also gleich minus g.
Die horizontale Komponente der Beschleunigung ist Null. So behält das Projektil eine konstante horizontale Geschwindigkeit bei.
Die vertikale Komponente der Geschwindigkeit nimmt zunächst ab, bis das Projektil den Zenit erreicht, an dem es Null wird. Sie nimmt wieder zu, wenn das Projektil der Abwärtsbahn folgt.
Das Vorhandensein von Luft widersteht jedoch der Bewegung eines Objekts und verringert die horizontale Geschwindigkeit. Die Reichweite und der Zenit des Objekts sind geringer als der Weg, dem es in einem Vakuum folgen würde.

Ein in die Luft geworfenes Objekt folgt unter dem Einfluss der Erdanziehungskraft einer parabolischen Bahn. Die Bewegung eines solchen Objekts wird Wurfbewegung genannt, und das Objekt selbst ist ein Projektil. Der parabolische Pfad, dem das Projektil folgt, wird Flugbahn genannt. Einige gängige Beispiele für Wurfbewegungen sind das Abschießen von Feuerwerkskörpern, ein Golfball in der Luft, Meteore, die in die Erdatmosphäre eindringen, und das Abfeuern von Kugeln.

Wenn ein Objekt unter Einwirkung der Schwerkraft fällt und keine horizontale Bewegung hat, spricht man von eindimensionaler Wurfbewegung. Wenn jedoch eine horizontale und vertikale Bewegung vorliegt, spricht man von zweidimensionaler Wurfbewegung. Die Bewegungen entlang der beiden senkrechten Achsen sind unabhängig voneinander und können daher getrennt analysiert werden. Im Allgemeinen wird der Effekt des Luftwiderstands bei der Herleitung von Gleichungen zur zweidimensionalen Wurfbewegung vernachlässigt.

Bei der Analyse der zweidimensionalen Wurfbewegung wird der Ursprung als der Punkt betrachtet, an dem das Projektil abgeschossen wird. Da die Beschleunigung aufgrund der Schwerkraft immer nach unten wirkt, ist die horizontale Komponente der Beschleunigung des Projektils während der gesamten Flugbahn immer null. Ebenso wird die vertikale Komponente der Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit null, wenn das Projektil die maximale Höhe erreicht. Daher ist diese Wahl der Achsen für die Lösung von Gleichungen zur Wurfbewegung äußerst praktisch und wird daher weit verbreitet verwendet.

Projectile motion describes the path of an object thrown into the air under Earth’s gravity. The object is called a projectile, and its curved path is called the trajectory. This motion appears in many real situations, such as fireworks, a golf ball in flight, meteors entering Earth’s atmosphere, and bullets being fired.

When a falling object has no horizontal movement, it is described as one-dimensional projectile motion. When motion includes both horizontal and vertical parts, it is two-dimensional projectile motion. The two perpendicular directions are independent, so they can be studied separately.

Air resistance is generally neglected when deriving two-dimensional projectile motion equations. For analysis, the origin is usually placed at the launch point. Because gravity always acts downward, the horizontal acceleration stays zero throughout the path, while the vertical velocity becomes zero at the highest point. This axis choice makes projectile motion easier to solve and is widely used.
