Current Density

Die Stromdichte ist die Gesamtmenge des pro Querschnittseinheit fließenden Stroms, gemessen in Ampere pro Quadratmeter.
Wenn ein kleiner Strom durch eine unendlich kleine Fläche fließt, kann eine Beziehung zwischen dem Strom und der Stromdichte hergestellt werden, wobei Theta der Winkel zwischen der Fläche und der Stromdichte ist. Daher kann der Gesamtstrom, der durch den Bereich fließt, bestimmt werden, indem er über den Bereich integriert wird.
Betrachten Sie die Größe der Stromdichte und rufen Sie die Gleichung der Driftgeschwindigkeit ins Ruf. Durch Ersetzen der Terme kann ein Zusammenhang zwischen Stromdichte und Driftgeschwindigkeit hergestellt werden. Während der Strom eine skalare Größe ist, ist die Stromdichte eine Vektorgröße.

Die Gesamtmenge des Stroms, die durch einen Einheitswert einer Querschnittsfläche fließt, wird als Stromdichte bezeichnet. Wenn der Stromfluss gleichmäßig ist, fließt durch einen Leiter an allen Stellen entlang des Leiters die gleiche Strommenge, selbst wenn sich der Leiterquerschnitt ändert. Die Stromdichte besteht aus der lokalen Größe und Richtung des Ladungsflusses, die von Punkt zu Punkt variiert. Die Stromdichte wird in Ampere pro Quadratmeter gemessen, wobei die Richtung als der Nettostrom positiver Ladungen durch den Bereich definiert ist. Außerdem nimmt bei einem gegebenen Strom die Ladungsdichte ab, wenn der Durchmesser des Drahtes in einem Stromkreis zunimmt. Die Größe der Stromdichte ist der Strom geteilt durch die Fläche.

Wenn q positiv ist, ist die Driftgeschwindigkeit in dieselbe Richtung wie das elektrische Feld gerichtet. Wenn q negativ ist, ist die Driftgeschwindigkeit in entgegengesetzter Richtung zum elektrischen Feld gerichtet. In jedem Fall ist die Richtung der Stromdichte in Richtung des elektrischen Feldes. Zum Beispiel kann in einer Natriumchloridlösung der Strom sowohl von positiven Natriumionen als auch von negativen Chlorionen getragen werden. Der Gesamtstrom ergibt sich aus der Addition der Ströme, die durch jede Art von geladenen Teilchen verursacht werden.

Current density describes how much electric current passes through a given cross-sectional area. It helps show not just the size of the current, but also how it is distributed through a conductor. The current density can change from point to point because the local charge flow can vary.

If the current flow is uniform, the amount of current is the same at every point along the conductor, even when the conductor’s area changes. Current density is measured in amperes per square meter. Its direction is defined by the net flow of positive charges through the area.

For a given current, a larger wire diameter means a lower charge density. The magnitude of current density is found by dividing current by area. The direction of current density matches the direction of the electric field.

The drift velocity of charged particles depends on charge sign. If q is positive, the drift velocity is in the same direction as the electric field. If q is negative, the drift velocity is opposite to the electric field. In sodium chloride solution, both sodium ions and chlorine ions can carry current, so the total current is the sum of the current from each type of charged particle.
