Magnetic Force

Stellen Sie sich zwei Drähte vor, die an eine Batterie angeschlossen sind.
Wenn die Richtungen der Ströme entgegengesetzt sind, stoßen sich die Drähte ab. Wenn die Richtungen gleich sind, ziehen sich die Drähte an.
Wenn eine Testladung in der Nähe platziert wird, erfährt sie keine Kraft, da die Drähte elektrisch neutral sind. Die Kraft, die zwischen den Drähten wirkt, ist also nicht elektrisch; Dies wird als magnetische Kraft bezeichnet.
Wenn ein Magnetkompass in der Nähe des Drahtes platziert wird, erfährt die Nadel eine Kraft und wird tangential zu einem Kreis um sie herum ausgerichtet. Dadurch bilden sich konzentrische Schleifen aus Magnetfeldern um den Draht.
Zeigt der Daumen in die Richtung des Stroms, geben die umwickelten Finger die Richtung des Magnetfeldes an.
Bei einem Draht mit einem Strom nach oben zeigt das Magnetfeld nach innen in die Ebene und die Magnetkraft nach links.
Diese Kombination von Richtungen erfüllt die Rechtshand-Regel. Die magnetische Kraft auf eine Testladung Q, die sich mit der Geschwindigkeit v in einem Magnetfeld B bewegt, ist Q multipliziert mit dem Kreuzprodukt von v und B, die sogenannte Lorentzkraft.

magnetische kraft

Zusätzlich zu den elektrischen Kräften zwischen elektrischen Ladungen üben bewegte elektrische Ladungen magnetische Kräfte aufeinander aus. Ein magnetisches Feld entsteht durch eine bewegte Ladung oder eine Gruppe von bewegten Ladungen, die als elektrischer Strom bezeichnet wird. Eine magnetische Kraft wird von einem zweiten Strom oder einer bewegten Ladung als Reaktion auf dieses magnetische Feld erfahren. Grundsätzlich erzeugen Wechselwirkungen zwischen bewegten Elektronen in den Atomen zweier Körper magnetische Kräfte zwischen ihnen.

Die magnetische Kraft, die auf eine bewegte Ladung wirkt, hat vier Hauptmerkmale. Erstens ist ihr Betrag proportional zum Betrag der Ladung. Zweitens ist der Betrag der Kraft proportional zum Betrag des Feldes. Bei zwei identischen Stabmagneten anstelle von einem verdoppelt sich die Kraft auf ein bewegtes Ladungsteilchen, ohne dass sich Geschwindigkeit und Ladung ändern.

Das dritte Charakteristikum ist, dass die magnetische Kraft von der Geschwindigkeit der Testladung abhängt, im Gegensatz zur elektrischen Kraft, die konstant bleibt, wenn sich die Ladung sich bewegt oder nicht. Auf ein ruhendes geladenes Teilchen wird keine magnetische Kraft ausgeübt. Viertens steht die magnetische Kraft immer senkrecht zur Geschwindigkeit und zum magnetischen Feld.

Daher leistet die magnetische Kraft keine Arbeit. Sie kann nur die Richtung der Bewegung einer Testladung ändern. Die Geschwindigkeit des Teilchens bleibt von der magnetischen Kraft unbeeinflusst.

Magnetic fields and moving charges create magnetic force. A moving electric charge, or a current made of many moving charges, produces a magnetic field. When another current or moving charge enters that field, it feels a magnetic force in response. At the atomic level, magnetic forces come from interactions between moving electrons in the atoms of two bodies.

The strength of magnetic force depends on several factors. It increases with the size of the charge and with the strength of the magnetic field. If two identical bar magnets create the field instead of one, the force on a moving charged particle doubles, while the particle’s charge and velocity stay the same. The force also depends on the particle’s velocity, unlike electric force, which can act whether the charge is moving or not.

A charge at rest does not experience magnetic force. The force is always perpendicular to both the particle’s velocity and the magnetic field. This relationship is described by the Lorentz force law, which gives the magnetic force on a charge moving through a magnetic field.

Because the magnetic force is perpendicular to the motion, it does no work on the charge. Work is the transfer of energy by a force. As a result, the force can change only the direction of motion, not the speed of the particle.
