Introduction to Structures

Eine Struktur ist ein System aus miteinander verbundenen Bauteilen wie Balken, Streben, Verbindungen usw., die dazu bestimmt sind, Kräfte aufzunehmen oder zu übertragen und den auf sie einwirkenden Lasten sicher standzuhalten.
Die Demontage der Struktur und die Analyse der Freikörperdiagramme einzelner Stäbe oder einer Kombination von Stäben hilft bei der Bestimmung der Schnittgrößen einer Struktur.
Die Strukturen werden in drei Kategorien eingeteilt: Traversen, Rahmen und Maschinen.
Traversen sind stationäre Konstruktionen und bleiben bei Krafteinwirkung starr. Ein Fachwerk besteht aus geraden Stäben, die an den Enden jedes Stabes durch Verbindungen verbunden sind. Die Stäbe eines Fachwerks haben also zwei gleiche und entgegengesetzte Kräfte, die entlang des Stabes wirken.
Ein Rahmen ist eine starre, stationäre Struktur, die zur Aufnahme von Lasten ausgelegt ist. Er hat aber immer mindestens ein Element, auf das drei oder mehr Kräfte wirken. Mindestens eine dieser Kräfte ist nicht entlang der Achse des Stabes gerichtet.
Maschinen sind nicht starre Strukturen mit beweglichen Teilen, die dazu bestimmt sind, die Auswirkungen von Kräften zu übertragen und zu modifizieren. In einer Maschine ist mindestens ein Multi-Force-Element vorhanden.

Eine Struktur wird definiert als ein System von miteinander verbundenen Elementen, die entworfen sind, um Kräfte zu unterstützen oder zu übertragen und erfolgreich den auf sie wirkenden Lasten standhalten können. Die internen Kräfte einer Struktur können bestimmt werden, indem man die Struktur zerlegt und die Freikörperdiagramme der einzelnen Elemente oder einer Kombination von Elementen analysiert. Dies hilft dabei, das Verhalten der strukturellen Elemente zu verstehen und sicherzustellen, dass die Struktur stabil ist und den auf sie wirkenden Lasten standhalten kann. Es gibt drei Hauptkategorien von Strukturen: Fachwerke, Rahmen und Maschinen. Fachwerke sind starre Strukturen, die bei Einwirkung von Kräften starr bleiben. Die Elemente eines Fachwerks sind gerade Bauteile, die an den Enden miteinander verbunden sind. Jedes Element eines Fachwerks hat entlang seiner Länge zwei gleich große, entgegengesetzte Kräfte. Fachwerke werden häufig in Brücken, Dächern und Türmen verwendet. Rahmen sind starr, stationäre Strukturen, die dazu bestimmt sind, Lasten zu tragen. Die Elemente in einem Rahmen können sowohl axialen Kräften als auch Biegemomenten ausgesetzt sein. Es gibt jedoch mindestens ein Element eines Rahmens, das immer drei oder mehr Kräfte auf sich wirken lässt, und mindestens eine dieser Kräfte ist nicht entlang der Achse des Elements ausgerichtet. Rahmen werden häufig in Gebäuden und Industriestrukturen wie Kränen und Portalkranen verwendet. Maschinen sind Strukturen mit bewegten Teilen, die dazu entworfen sind, die Effekte von Kräften zu übertragen und zu modifizieren. Sie beinhalten Mechanismen, die Bewegung oder Kraftübertragung ermöglichen. In einer Maschine sollte mindestens ein Mehrfachkraftelement vorhanden sein. Maschinen werden häufig in Werkzeugen wie Pressen und Fahrzeugen wie Autos und Flugzeugen verwendet.

Structures are systems of interconnected members that support or transfer forces and handle the loads placed on them. Engineers can find the internal forces in a structure by breaking it apart and drawing free-body diagrams for individual members or groups of members. This helps show how structural elements behave and how the whole system stays stable under load.

There are three main categories of structures: trusses, frames, and machines. Trusses are stationary structures that stay rigid when force is applied. Their members are straight and connected at the ends by joints, and each member has two equal and opposite forces acting along it. Trusses are commonly used in bridges, roofs, and towers.

Frames are also rigid, stationary structures that support loads. Members in a frame may experience axial forces and bending moments. In addition, at least one member in a frame has three or more forces acting on it, and at least one of those forces is not along the member’s axis. Frames are commonly found in buildings and industrial structures such as cranes and gantries.

Machines are structures with moving parts that transmit and modify the effects of forces. They use mechanisms that allow motion or change how force acts. At least one multi-force member should be present in a machine. Common examples include presses, cars, and planes.
