Die Spannungskomponenten eines mehrfach belasteten Körpers werden unter Berücksichtigung eines kleinen Würfels analysiert, der am Punkt O zentriert ist.
Der Würfel verfügt über die Normal- und Schubspannungskomponenten, die auf Flächen senkrecht zu den entsprechenden Achsen wirken.
Die verdeckten Flächen erfahren ebenfalls diese Spannungen, die denen auf den sichtbaren Flächen gleich und entgegengesetzt sind. Das Gleichgewicht wird also aufrechterhalten.
Obwohl sich die Spannungen auf den Flächen des Würfels geringfügig von denen an Punkt O unterscheiden, verschwindet dieser kleine Fehler, wenn die Seitenlänge des Würfels auf Null reduziert wird.
Unter Berücksichtigung des Freikörperdiagramms des Würfels werden die Normal- und Schubkräfte, die auf die Flächen wirken, bestimmt, indem die entsprechenden Spannungskomponenten mit der Fläche jeder Fläche multipliziert werden.
Dann werden durch Anwendung der Gleichgewichtsgleichungen Beziehungen zwischen den Schubspannungskomponenten abgeleitet, was bedeutet, dass nur sechs Spannungskomponenten erforderlich sind, um den Spannungszustand an einem bestimmten Punkt zu definieren.
Außerdem kann die Schubspannung nicht nur in einer Ebene auftreten. Es muss also eine gleiche Schubspannung auf eine andere Ebene ausgeübt werden, die senkrecht dazu steht.

Die Spannungsanalyse unter mehreren Belastungsbedingungen ist komplex und erfordert ein umfassendes Verständnis der Normal- und Scherspannungen. Stellen Sie sich einen kleinen Würfel am Punkt O vor, der auf allen sechs sichtbaren oder unsichtbaren Flächen einer Belastung ausgesetzt ist. Wenn die Seitenlänge des Würfels gegen Null geht, wird der Unterschied zwischen den Spannungen bei O und denen auf den Würfelflächen vernachlässigbar.

Die Untersuchung der auf den Würfel wirkenden Kräfte führt zu entscheidenden Beziehungen zwischen Scherspannungskomponenten: τ_xy gleich τ_yx, τ_yz gleich τ_zy und τ_zx gleich τ_xz, was darauf hinweist, dass nur sechs Spannungskomponenten und nicht neun den Spannungszustand an einem Punkt definieren.

Wichtig ist, dass Scherung nicht nur in einer Ebene auftreten kann. Auf einer anderen Ebene senkrecht zur ersten muss eine gleiche Scherspannung ausgeübt werden. Schließlich kann die interpretierte Spannungssituation je nach Ausrichtung des betrachteten Elements variieren, was die Komplexität der Spannungsanalyse unter mehreren Belastungsbedingungen verdeutlicht.

Components of Stress

Stress components on a small cube help describe how a body behaves under multiple loading. The cube is centered at point O and has stress acting on all six faces, whether the faces are visible or hidden. Normal stress components σx, σy, and σz act perpendicular to the x, y, and z axes. Shearing stress components also act on the cube faces.

The visible faces carry shear stresses such as τxy and τxz. The hidden faces carry equal and opposite stresses. This balance keeps the cube in equilibrium. As the side length of the cube becomes very small, the difference between the stress at point O and the stress on the cube faces becomes negligible.

Looking at the forces on the cube also shows key links between shear components. The shear stresses satisfy τxy = τyx, τyz = τzy, and τzx = τxz. Because of these relations, only six stress components are needed to define the stress condition at a point, not nine. Shear cannot act in only one plane. An equal shearing stress must also act on a perpendicular plane.

The stress picture can change when the cube is rotated. That means the interpreted stress state depends on the orientation of the element being studied. This makes stress analysis under multiple loading conditions more complex.
