Instantaneous Velocity - I

La velocidad promedio de un objeto no puede decirnos qué tan rápido o en qué dirección se movía el objeto en un momento dado. Para identificar esto, necesitamos la velocidad en un instante específico de tiempo o la velocidad instantánea.
La velocidad instantánea es el límite de la velocidad media cuando el intervalo de tiempo se aproxima a cero, o la derivada de x con respecto a t. Aquí, la variable x se usa para describir la posición de un objeto a lo largo de un movimiento unidimensional. La velocidad instantánea es una cantidad vectorial, y el símbolo vx se utiliza para la velocidad instantánea a lo largo de la dirección x.
El signo de la velocidad instantánea es el mismo que el signo de Δx, ya que el tiempo siempre se considera positivo. Instantaneous velocity describes how fast an object is moving at a specific instant. It gives the motion of a particle at one point in time or at one point along its path. Average velocity over a time interval cannot show this level of detail.

Instantaneous velocity, often written as v x , is the limit of average velocity as the elapsed time approaches zero. It can also be found as the derivative of x with respect to t . Like average velocity, it is a vector with dimensions of length per unit of time.

The sign of instantaneous velocity tells the direction of motion. A positive value means x is increasing, so the motion is in the positive x - direction. A negative value means x is decreasing, so the motion is in the negative x - direction.

Instantaneous speed is the magnitude of instantaneous velocity. A particle moving at -10 m/s and a particle moving at +10 m/s have the same instantaneous speed. However, they are moving in opposite directions.
