Description
Angular acceleration describes how quickly angular velocity changes in rotational motion. It matters when motion is not uniform. An ice skater spinning with arms outstretched can increase angular velocity by pulling the arms inward. A computer hard disk can also slow down, which means its angular velocity decreases.
