Il faut 20 minutes ou un tiers d’heure pour remonter le courant et 15 minutes ou un quart d’heure pour revenir en aval. La distance dans les deux sens reste la même. Quelle est la vitesse du courant ?Le débit de la rivière modifie la vitesse effective du bateau, la réduisant en amont et l’augmentant en aval.Soit une variable représentant la vitesse du courant.En amont, la vitesse effective est de 25 kilomètres par heure moins la vitesse du courant. En aval, il devient 25 kilomètres par heure plus la vitesse du courant.La distance en amont est donnée par la vitesse effective multipliée par un tiers d’heure ; En aval, il est multiplié par un quart.Comme les distances sont égales, le produit de la vitesse et du temps pour chaque trajet doit également être égal.La résolution de cette équation donne la vitesse du courant d’environ 3,57 kilomètres par heure.

In the annuity formula, A is the fixed monthly payment that covers both interest and principal. P is the principal, or the original loan amount. r is the monthly interest rate, and n is the total number of monthly payments. The value of n is found by multiplying the loan term in years by 12.

To apply the model, the problem must be stated clearly first. For example, the goal may be to find the monthly payment for a loan when the amount, interest rate, and time are known. After the values are matched to the variables, basic algebra is used to calculate A.

The answer gives the steady payment needed to fully pay off the loan over the set time. This model assumes a constant interest rate and equal monthly payments, which are common in standard loan agreements. It is used for mortgages, auto loans, and student loans, so it is a practical tool for personal and business financial planning.
