The Scope of Physics

La fisica è lo studio della natura e delle leggi che ci aiutano a comprendere tutti i fenomeni naturali. Questo perché tutto è costituito da materia ed energia e interagisce nello spazio e nel tempo.
I principi della fisica sono elementi chiave in molte discipline scientifiche. In chimica, vengono applicati per studiare le interazioni tra atomi e molecole. In molti rami dell'ingegneria, utilizziamo le leggi della fisica nella progettazione di nuove tecnologie e dispositivi.
La fisica descrive anche i processi chimici che avvengono nel corpo umano, rendendo possibile lo sviluppo di tecniche e dispositivi utilizzati nelle scienze biologiche e mediche.
Le leggi della fisica sono utilizzate da tutte le discipline e lo studio della fisica contribuisce notevolmente alla nostra comprensione delle altre scienze.
Molte grandezze fisiche definite dalle leggi della fisica possono essere espresse come una combinazione di quantità di lunghezza, massa e tempo.
La lunghezza è una misura fisica della distanza misurata nell'unità SI del metro, della massa con l'unità del chilogrammo e del tempo con l'unità dei secondi.

lo scopo della fisica

La fisica si occupa delle interazioni di energia, materia, spazio e tempo, al fine di scoprire quali sono i meccanismi sottostanti alla base di tutti i fenomeni. La parola "fisica" deriva dalla parola greca "physis", che significa natura. La fisica cerca di comprendere il mondo naturale che ci circonda al suo livello più fondamentale. Per fare questo viene evidenziato l'uso di leggi quantitative, che potrebbe essere prezioso in altri campi che vogliono superare i limiti prestazionali delle attuali tecnologie.

La conoscenza della fisica è vitale, non solo nelle carriere scientifiche, ma anche in contesti quotidiani. Ad esempio, la fisica può aiutarci a capire come funzionano i forni a microonde e perché potrebbero influenzare i pacemaker. Molte discipline si basano sulla fisica e in tante altre fornisce un contributo diretto. Physics studies the interactions of energy, matter, space, and time. It looks for the basic mechanisms that explain natural phenomena. The word physics comes from the Greek word physis, which means nature.

Physics helps us understand the natural world at its most fundamental level. It relies on quantitative laws, or rules written in numbers and measurements, to describe how things behave. That approach can also help other fields improve the limits of current technology.

Physics matters in everyday life as well as in science careers. For example, it helps explain how microwave ovens work. It also helps explain why microwave ovens might affect pacemakers.

Many disciplines depend on physics, and physics also supports several others directly. Chemistry studies how atoms and molecules interact, so it is closely connected to atomic and molecular physics. Most branches of engineering also use physics because engineers design technologies, processes, and structures within the limits set by physical laws.

You do not need to learn every application of physics to use it well. It is more important to know the fundamental rules and use them to solve problems. That kind of analytical thinking can strengthen problem-solving skills. Because physics contains the most basic ideas in science, it is used by all sciences.
