Le facciate continue in muratura sono rivestimenti esterni di impiallacciature in muratura di mattoni o pietra sostenute dal telaio strutturale dell'edificio.
In primo luogo, gli angoli del ripiano in acciaio sono fissati alla trave spandrel del telaio strutturale e l'isolamento è posizionato su di essa.
Quindi, viene posata la scossalina, le unità in muratura vengono posizionate direttamente su di essa e fissate con una malta ad alto legante.

In alternativa, le facciate continue possono essere installate sollevando i pannelli prefabbricati in posizione e fissandoli.
Nelle facciate continue sono previsti anche giunti di dilatazione verticali e orizzontali.
Inoltre, fornire una cavità dietro la facciata continua insieme a fori di drenaggio può mitigare l'ingresso di umidità nella struttura.

Le pareti divisorie in muratura impiegano rivestimenti in mattoni o pietra supportati dalla struttura dell'edificio per formare un sistema di rivestimento esterno che sia sia esteticamente gradevole che funzionale. Queste pareti vengono erette tramite due tecniche principali: con la tradizionale posa in opera di unità in muratura, oppure utilizzando pannelli prefabbricati. La costruzione tradizionale si basa su angolari in acciaio fissati alla trave di sostegno, con malte ad alta aderenza che garantiscono un fissaggio sicuro delle unità di rivestimento in muratura. Masonry curtain walls use brick or stone veneer as an exterior cladding system. The veneer is supported by the building structure, so the wall can be both attractive and functional.

Two main construction methods are used for these walls. One method builds the masonry units in place through traditional layering. The other uses prefabricated panels that are assembled on the ground and then lifted into position.

In traditional construction, steel shelf angles attached to the spandrel beam carry the veneer. High-bond mortars help secure the masonry units. A backup wall, often made of concrete units or steel studs, sits behind the veneer and supports flashing, insulation, and interior finishes.

The backup wall is connected to the curtain wall with joint reinforcing and masonry ties. These connections allow movement between the two parts while helping preserve structural integrity. Expansion joints are also used to handle thermal changes. In some cases, cavity and weep holes behind the veneer help limit moisture ingress.

Prefabricated panels offer a faster option. Builders place brick, reinforcement, and a concrete overlay inside a form with a plastic gasket form liner. The finished panels are then set in place as durable, integrated wall sections.
