平面図の部屋の寸法は、外側の角から測定した長さ12フィート、幅8フィートです。
ブロックの実際の寸法は、公称寸法よりわずかに小さくなります。ブロックの寸法とモルタルの厚さを合わせると、長さは16インチになります。
現在、壁の長い寸法には正確に9ブロック、短い方の寸法には6ブロックが必要です。
この配置により、部屋の内寸は長辺方向に10フィート8インチ、短方向に6フィート8インチになります。
この方法により、ブロックの切断が回避され、より迅速な建設と完璧な仕上がりが保証されます。

設計例: コンクリートブロック構造の寸法決定

コンクリートブロックを使用して倉庫を建設する場合、構造の寸法をブロックの実際のサイズと予定のモルタル目地に合わせることが重要です。当の現場には、倉庫の建設に使用する公称サイズが 20.32 x 20.32 x 40.64 cm のコンクリートブロックが備蓄されています。


 現場のエンジニアは、倉庫の外寸を長さ 3.66 m、幅 2.44 mとして設計しました。この寸法に合わせるため、設計では壁の長さに 9 個のブロック、幅に 6 個のブロックを使用することが指定されています。ただし、実際の各ブロックのサイズは、高さ 19.37 cm、幅 39.37 cm で、モルタル目地の余裕は 0.95 cm です。モルタルと組み合わせると、有効ブロック長は 40.64 cm になります。


 この計算により、ブロックを端から端まで並べると、切断の必要がなく計画された寸法を満たすことが保証され、より迅速な建設プロセスが促進され、完璧な仕上がりが実現します。したがって、建設が完了すると、倉庫の壁の内部寸法は、長さに沿って 3.05 m、 0.20 m、幅に沿って 1.83 m、 0.20 m になります。材料の使用に対するこの系統的なアプローチにより、建設の効率が確保され、倉庫のすっきりとした美観が実現します。
