Phase-Lag Control for Smoother System Response

Description

Phase-lag control helps a system respond more smoothly and stay stable. It is also used to reduce steady-state error, which is the small difference that can remain after a system settles. A dimmer switch for a light bulb is a simple real-world example. It changes brightness gradually instead of all at once.
