Jisheng Liu is an Associate Professor at the School of Life Sciences at Guangzhou University. He is a high-level talent in Guangzhou and a Pearl River Rising Star in Science and Technology. He completed his Ph.D. studies in Applied Biological Sciences at Ghent University. His research interests include innate immunity and RNA interference (RNAi) in model insects, such as the silkworm Bombyx mori, the red flour beetle Tribolium casteneum, and other insects.
