Marwa Saady, P.hD.

Marwa Saady, PhD, is a pharmaceutical scientist and clinical researcher whose expertise includes nanoparticle-based formulations, cancer-targeted drug delivery, AI in healthcare, and global health research on infectious diseases and digital health technologies. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, where her research focused on advanced delivery systems designed to enhance bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes. She also earned a Master’s in Clinical Research Management from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University, strengthening her expertise in clinical trials, regulatory frameworks, and translational pharmaceutics. She served as a Supervisor in the Research Assistant Certification Program at The Misdiagnosis Association and Research Institution (MARI), a Global Health Researcher with GLOW Action, and an Active Learning Teaching & Research Fellow at the American University in Cairo, where she mentored junior researchers, guided them in their research articles, and contributed to work on cancer research, infectious disease epidemiology, and systematic reviews-based projects. She has multidisciplinary publications including work on intranasal nanoparticles for Parkinson’s disease, tumor-targeted hybrid nanoparticles, and systematic reviews and meta-analyses on acute febrile illness, dengue diagnostics, tele- proctoring in robotic surgery, and artificial intelligence in oncology clinical trials. She is proficient in statistical analysis using R, CMA, and related software. She spends most of her free time practicing squash and meeting with her family and her dog. marwa.saady@jove.com
