Ruch pocisku odnosi się do toru ruchu obiektu wystrzelonego w powietrze, na który wpływa tylko siła grawitacji. Kąt, pod jakim wystrzeliwany jest pocisk, nazywany jest kątem wystrzelenia.
Ruch pocisku składa się z dwóch niezależnych składowych - ruchu poziomego i pionowego.
Gdy pocisk znajdzie się w powietrzu, żadne inne siły nie mogą go przyspieszyć w kierunku poziomym.
Stosując równania kinematyki w kierunku poziomym, prędkość pozioma pocisku pozostaje stała przez cały czas jego lotu.
Cały ruch w kierunku poziomym można opisać tylko jednym równaniem.
I odwrotnie, na ruch pionowy ma wpływ tylko siła grawitacji. Za pomocą równań kinematycznych można badać ruch obiektu w kierunku pionowym.
Obliczając poziomą i pionową składową prędkości, można znaleźć wynikową prędkość obiektu. Prędkość wynikowa jest zawsze styczna do toru lotu pocisku.
Maksymalny zasięg pocisku zależy od prędkości początkowej, kąta wystrzelenia i przyspieszenia ziemskiego.

Ruch pocisku staje się widoczny, gdy gracz kopie piłkę w powietrze. Kąt wystrzelenia, czyli kąt kopnięcia piłki, odgrywa kluczową rolę w określeniu trajektorii pocisku. Gdy piłka szybuje w powietrzu, pod wpływem wyłącznie grawitacji, jej ruch można rozłożyć na dwie niezależne składowe prędkości: poziomą i pionową.


 Ruch poziomy, sterowany kopnięciem początkowym, utrzymuje stałą prędkość podczas całego lotu piłki. Równania kinematyki zastosowane w kierunku poziomym upraszczają opis całego jego ruchu za pomocą jednego równania. Z kolei analizę ruchu pionowego piłki nożnej poddanej wyłącznie działaniu siły ciężkości można przeprowadzić za pomocą równań kinematycznych właściwych dla kierunku pionowego.


 Obliczenie składowej poziomej i pionowej prędkości piłki nożnej umożliwia wyznaczenie jej prędkości wypadkowej, zawsze stycznej do toru lotu pocisku. Maksymalny zasięg, jaki może osiągnąć piłka, zależy od takich czynników, jak prędkość początkowa, kąt wystrzelenia i działające na nią przyspieszenie grawitacyjne. W dynamicznej interakcji sił, ruch pocisku w piłce nożnej jest przykładem skomplikowanej fizyki rządzącej lotem piłki.

Projectile motion in a soccer kick shows how a ball travels through the air after it is launched. The launch angle, which is the angle of the kick, plays a major role in shaping the path of the ball. Once the ball is in the air, gravity is the only force acting on it.

The ball’s motion can be split into two independent velocity components: horizontal and vertical. The horizontal motion comes from the initial kick and stays at a constant velocity during the flight. Kinematics equations in the horizontal direction can describe that part of the motion with one equation.

The vertical motion is affected only by gravity. Kinematics equations for the vertical direction are used to analyze that part of the path. When the horizontal and vertical components of velocity are calculated, the result is the ball’s resultant velocity, which is always tangent to the projectile’s path.

The maximum range of the ball depends on the initial speed, launch angle, and the acceleration due to gravity. In soccer, this makes projectile motion a clear example of the physics that controls how a kicked ball moves through the air.
