Фазные напряжения имеют разность фаз 120 градусов, а квадратный корень из двух используется для преобразования пиковых напряжений в среднеквадратичные значения для точного анализа мощности.
Когда машина работает, она потребляет ток от источника питания, что приводит к запаздыванию фазы между фазными токами и соответствующими фазными напряжениями.
Общая мгновенная мощность, потребляемая нагрузкой машины, рассчитывается путем суммирования мгновенной мощности в каждой из трех фаз.
Полученная суммарная мгновенная мощность остается практически постоянной и не изменяется со временем. Это позволяет рассчитать активную, реактивную и полную мощность для каждой фазы.
Общая активная мощность представляет собой сумму активных мощностей в трех фазах. Аналогичным образом рассчитывается общая реактивная и полная мощность.
Эти результаты справедливы как для Y-, так и для разветвленных нагрузок.

Мощность в трехфазной цепи

Трехфазные системы имеют две конфигурации: звезда и треугольник. Конфигурация «звезда» может состоять из трех или четырех проводов; в конфигурации треугольника компоненты соединены по замкнутому контуру. Мгновенная мощность относится к значению мощности в определенный момент и в сбалансированной трехфазной системе является постоянной. Это связано с тем, что сумма мгновенных мощностей в трех фазах остается постоянной во времени, несмотря на отдельные колебания, из-за симметрии и фазового соотношения. Полная мгновенная мощность в сбалансированной трехфазной системе постоянна и не колеблется с течением времени
Активная, реактивная и комплексная мощность:
Средняя мощность на фазу составляет одну треть от общей средней мощности в сбалансированной трехфазной системе. Аналогично, реактивная мощность на фазу составляет одну треть от общей реактивной мощности в системе. Комплексная мощность, которая объединяет как активную, так и реактивную мощность на фазу, также составляет одну треть от общей комплексной мощности.
Эквивалентность в расчетах мощности:
Конфигурации «треугольник» и «звезда» имеют напряжения и токи во всех фазах и линиях. В этих конфигурациях нагрузки подключаются к каждой фазе на стороне нагрузки. Мощность, потребляемая нагрузкой, и эквивалентность конфигураций «звезда» и «треугольник» распространяются на расчеты мощности. Power in a Three-Phase Circuit

Balanced three-phase power calculation depends on the wye and delta connections used in the circuit. A wye, or star, configuration can use three wires or four wires. A delta configuration connects the components in a closed loop. These connection types change how voltages and currents are arranged, but both are used in three-phase systems.

In a balanced three-phase system, instantaneous power is the power at one exact moment. Even though the power in each phase changes over time, the total instantaneous power stays constant. The three phase powers add together in a steady way because the system is symmetric and the phases are shifted from one another.

The same one-third relationship applies to average power, reactive power, and complex power. The average power in each phase is one-third of the total average power. The reactive power per phase is also one-third of the total reactive power. Complex power, which combines active and reactive power for each phase, is likewise one-third of the total complex power.

These power rules apply to both wye-connected and delta-connected loads. In both configurations, the load is connected to each phase at the load end. The total power is the sum of the power in the three phases. It can be found by using the known relationships between line voltage, phase voltage, line current, and phase current in either a wye or delta system.
