Движение снаряда относится к траектории запускаемого в воздух объекта, на который действует только сила гравитации. Угол, под которым запускается снаряд, называется углом пуска.
Движение снаряда имеет две независимые составляющие – горизонтальное и вертикальное движение.
Как только снаряд оказывается в воздухе, никакие другие силы не могут разогнать его в горизонтальном направлении.
Применяя уравнения кинематики в горизонтальном направлении, горизонтальная скорость снаряда остается постоянной на протяжении всего его полета.
Все движение по горизонтали можно описать только одним уравнением.
И наоборот, на вертикальное движение влияет только гравитационная сила. С помощью кинематических уравнений можно изучать движение объекта в вертикальном направлении.
Вычислив горизонтальную и вертикальную составляющие скорости, можно найти результирующую скорость объекта. Результирующая скорость всегда является касательной к траектории снаряда.
Максимальная дальность полета снаряда зависит от начальной скорости, угла пуска и ускорения под действием силы тяжести.

Движение снаряда становится очевидным, когда игрок подбрасывает мяч в воздух. Угол запуска, или угол, под которым бьют по мячу, играет решающую роль в определении траектории полёта снаряда. Поскольку мяч парит в воздухе под действием исключительно силы тяжести, его движение можно разделить на две независимые компоненты скорости: горизонтальную и вертикальную.


 Горизонтальное движение, управляемое начальным ударом, поддерживает постоянную скорость на протяжении всего полёта футбольного мяча. Уравнения кинематики, применяемые в горизонтальном направлении, упрощают описание всего его движения одним уравнением. С другой стороны, анализ вертикального движения футбольного мяча, подверженного исключительно силе тяжести, можно выполнить с использованием кинематических уравнений, характерных для вертикального направления.


 Вычисление горизонтальной и вертикальной составляющих скорости футбольного мяча позволяет определить его результирующую скорость, всегда касательную к траектории снаряда. Максимальная дальность полёта мяча зависит от таких факторов, как начальная скорость, угол запуска и действующее на него гравитационное ускорение. В динамическом взаимодействии сил движение снаряда в футболе иллюстрирует сложную физику, управляющую полётом мяча.

Projectile motion in a soccer kick shows how a ball travels through the air after it is launched. The launch angle, which is the angle of the kick, plays a major role in shaping the path of the ball. Once the ball is in the air, gravity is the only force acting on it.

The ball’s motion can be split into two independent velocity components: horizontal and vertical. The horizontal motion comes from the initial kick and stays at a constant velocity during the flight. Kinematics equations in the horizontal direction can describe that part of the motion with one equation.

The vertical motion is affected only by gravity. Kinematics equations for the vertical direction are used to analyze that part of the path. When the horizontal and vertical components of velocity are calculated, the result is the ball’s resultant velocity, which is always tangent to the projectile’s path.

The maximum range of the ball depends on the initial speed, launch angle, and the acceleration due to gravity. In soccer, this makes projectile motion a clear example of the physics that controls how a kicked ball moves through the air.
