Затем рассчитывается деформация в каждой детали, а общая деформация стержня вычисляется путем суммирования деформации в каждой детали.
Когда один конец стержня зафиксирован, деформация равна смещению его свободного конца. Но когда оба конца стержня движутся, деформация измеряется относительным смещением одного конца относительно другого.
Рассмотрим сборку из трех упругих стержней, соединенных жестким штифтом в точке О. Если нагрузка приложена к свободному концу стержня 1, то каждый стержень будет деформироваться.
Для стержней 2 и 3, прикрепленных к неподвижным опорам В и С, общая деформация измеряется смещением точки О.
Для стержня 1, где движутся оба конца, деформация измеряется разностью между перемещениями точек О и А.

Деформация элемента при многократных нагрузках

Когда стержень изготовлен из разных материалов или имеет различное поперечное сечение, его необходимо разделить на части, отвечающие необходимым условиям определения деформации. Каждая из этих частей характеризуется внутренней силой, площадью поперечного сечения, длиной и модулем упругости. Эти параметры затем используются для расчета деформации всего стержня.


 В случае элемента с переменным поперечным сечением деформация не является постоянной, а зависит от положения. Деформация элемента длины выражается, а общая деформация элемента рассчитывается путем интегрирования этого выражения по всей длине элемента.


 В сценариях, когда один конец стержня зафиксирован, деформация равна смещению его свободного конца. Однако когда оба конца стержня движутся, деформация измеряется относительным смещением одного конца относительно другого. Рассмотрим систему из трех упругих стержней, соединенных жестким штифтом. Calculating rod stretch from mixed loads starts with breaking the rod into parts. This step is needed when the rod is made of different materials or has changes in cross-section. Each part has its own internal force, cross-sectional area, length, and modulus of elasticity.

These values are used to find the deformation of the full rod. For a member with a variable cross-section, the strain is not constant. Instead, it changes with position along the rod. The deformation of a small element is written first, and the total deformation is found by integrating that expression over the full length.

The meaning of deformation also depends on how the rod is supported. If one end is fixed, the deformation is the displacement of the free end. If both ends move, the deformation is measured as the relative displacement of one end compared with the other.

This idea also applies to a system of three elastic bars connected by a rigid pin. When a load is applied at one point, each bar deforms. For the bars attached to fixed supports, the common deformation is measured by the displacement of a chosen point. For the bar with moving ends, deformation is the difference between the displacements of the two points.
