Если рассматривать два периодических сигнала и формировать третий путем их линейной комбинации, то коэффициенты Фурье этого третьего сигнала являются просто линейной комбинацией коэффициентов исходных сигналов.

Если мы рассмотрим два периодических сигнала, их линейная комбинация приведет к новому сигналу, коэффициенты Фурье которого будут просто соответствующими линейными комбинациями коэффициентов исходных сигналов. Это свойство имеет решающее значение в таких приложениях, как радио с частотной модуляцией (FM), где несколько сигналов могут передаваться по одному и тому же каналу без помех.

Time reversal is another key property. This property is widely used in digital signal processing, especially in convolution, where it helps simplify signal math.
