Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the adult nervous system, acts via two classes of receptors, the ionotropic GABA(A) and metabotropic GABA(B) receptors. During the development of the nervous system, GABA acts in a depolarizing, excitatory manner and plays an important role in various neural developmental processes including cell proliferation, migration, synapse formation, and activity-dependent differentiation. Here we describe the spatial and temporal expression patterns of the GABA(A) and GABA(B) receptors during early development of Xenopus laevis. Using in situ hybridization and qRT-PCR, GABA(A) Î±2 was detected as a maternal mRNA. All other Î±-subunits were first detected by tailbud through hatching stages. Expression of the various subunits was seen in the brain, spinal cord, cranial ganglia, olfactory epithelium, pineal, and pituitary gland. Each receptor subunit showed a distinctive, unique expression pattern, suggesting these receptors have specific functions and are regulated in a precise spatial and temporal manner.

Acide gamma - aminobutyrique (GABA), le neurotransmetteur inhibiteur majeur dans le syst&egrave;me nerveux adulte, agit par l&#39;interm&eacute;diaire de deux classes de r&eacute;cepteurs, ionotropiques GABA et les r&eacute;cepteurs m&eacute;tabotropiques du GABA(B). Au cours du d&eacute;veloppement du syst&egrave;me nerveux, GABA agit de mani&egrave;re d&eacute;polarisante et excitateur et joue un r&ocirc;le important dans divers proc&eacute;d&eacute;s de d&eacute;veloppement neurales, y compris la prolif&eacute;ration cellulaire, migration, formation des synapses et diff&eacute;renciation d&eacute;pendante de l&#39;activit&eacute;. Nous d&eacute;crivons ici les patrons d&#39;expression spatiale et temporelle des r&eacute;cepteurs GABA et GABA(B) au d&eacute;but du d&eacute;veloppement de Xenopus laevis. En utilisant l&#39;hybridation in situ et qRT-PCR, &alpha;2 GABA a &eacute;t&eacute; d&eacute;tect&eacute;e comme un ARNm maternels. Tous les autres sous-unit&eacute;s &alpha; ont &eacute;t&eacute; d&#39;abord d&eacute;tect&eacute;es par tailbud par &eacute;tapes de l&#39;&eacute;closion. Chacune des sous-unit&eacute;s du r&eacute;cepteur a montr&eacute; un mod&egrave;le d&#39;expression caract&eacute;ristique, unique, ce qui sugg&egrave;re ces r&eacute;cepteurs ont des fonctions sp&eacute;cifiques et sont r&eacute;glement&eacute;s de mani&egrave;re spatiale et temporelle pr&eacute;cise.

Gamma - Aminobutters&auml;ure (GABA), die wichtigsten inhibitorischen Neurotransmitter im erwachsenen Nervensystems, wirkt &uuml;ber zwei Klassen der Rezeptoren, ionotrope GABA(A) und Metabotropic GABA(B) Rezeptoren. Bei der Entwicklung des Nervensystems GABA auf depolarisierende, erregenden Weise und spielt eine wichtige Rolle in verschiedenen neuronalen Entwicklungsprozesse, die Zellproliferation, Migration, Synapse Bildung und leistungsabh&auml;ngige Differenzierung. Hier beschreiben wir die r&auml;umlichen und zeitlichen Muster der GABA(A) und GABA(B) Rezeptoren w&auml;hrend der fr&uuml;hen Entwicklungsphase von Xenopus Laevis. Mit in-situ-Hybridisierung und qRT-PCR, wurde als eine m&uuml;tterliche mRNA GABA(A) &alpha;2 erkannt werden. Alle anderen &alpha;-Untereinheiten wurden zuerst von Tailbud durch Schraffur Stadien erkannt. Ausdruck der verschiedenen Untereinheiten wurde im Gehirn, R&uuml;ckenmark, kraniale Ganglien, olfaktorischen Epithel, Zirbeldr&uuml;se, und Hypophyse gesehen. Jeder Rezeptor-Untereinheit zeigte eine unverwechselbare, einzigartige Ausdrucksmuster, schl&auml;gt diese Rezeptoren haben bestimmte Funktionen und r&auml;umliche und zeitliche genau geregelt sind.

Durante lo sviluppo del sistema nervoso, il GABA agisce in maniera depolarizing, eccitatoria e svolge un ruolo importante in vari processi di sviluppo neurali, compresa la proliferazione cellulare, migrazione, formazione di sinapsi e differenziazione di attivit&agrave;-dipendente. Qui descriviamo il pattern di espressione spaziale e temporale dei recettori GABA(A) e GABA(B) durante lo sviluppo iniziale di Xenopus laevis. Tramite l&#39;ibridazione in situ e qRT-PCR, GABA(A) &alpha;2 &egrave; stato individuato come un mRNA materni. Tutte le altre subunit&agrave; &alpha; in primo luogo sono state rilevate da tailbud attraverso fasi di schiusa. Espressione delle diverse subunit&agrave; &egrave; stato visto nel cervello, midollo spinale, gangli cranici, epitelio olfattivo, ghiandola pineale e ghiandola pituitaria. Ogni subunit&agrave; del recettore ha mostrato un modello di espressione distintivo, unico, suggerendo questi recettori hanno funzioni specifiche e sono regolati in maniera precisa spaziale e temporale.
