Een methode om rechtstreeks te leveren morpholinos in de zebravis otocyst op 24hpf is ontwikkeld. Met behulp van micro-injectie van morpholinos in het lumen van otic blaasje en elektroporatie tegen penetratie effect, waren we in staat om het effect van morpholinos op de hersenen te omzeilen en de effecten die specifiek zijn voor het binnenoor te verkrijgen.
