Biography

Liat Rosenfeld is an Assistant Professor in the Chemical and Materials Engineering Department at SJSU. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Then she did a post-doctoral fellowship in the Chemical Engineering Department at Stanford University. Dr. Rosenfeld’s research activities involve renewable energy, biofuels, complex fluids, complex fluids interfaces, interfacial dynamics and rheology and droplet micro-fluidics for next generation medical, electromechanical and energy applications. Dr. Rosenfeld is teaching Transport Phenomena, Unit Operations in Chemical Engineering and Mathematical Methods in Chemical Engineering.
