Biography

Prior to her PhD, Dr. Sakine Simsekyilmaz gained initial experiences in the field of glioblastoma research. During her PhD and as a postdoctoral fellow, she strenghthened her background and knowledge in translational research to investigate potential new therapeutics in the treatment of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases whilst targeting specific cell types.
