Description

Water imbalance disorders happen when the body has too little or too much water, or when water and salts are no longer in normal balance. These changes disrupt homeostasis, the body’s stable internal condition. The main outcomes include dehydration, hypotonic hydration, hyperhydration, edema, and water intoxication.
