U.s. Gaap Alignment

U.S. GAAP alignment is the process of preparing financial statements and accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles established for financial reporting in the United States. It works by applying consistent rules for transaction recognition, measurement, classification, presentation, and disclosure, while documenting judgments and reconciling accounting practices with applicable standards. Alignment helps organizations produce comparable, transparent financial information for investors, auditors, regulators, and other decision-makers. It also supports financial statement audits, improves internal reporting controls, and reduces the risk of material misstatements when companies adopt new transactions, reporting requirements, or accounting policies.
